Transforming the station area in Hasselt

Six years of study crystallises into this urban infill development ‘BAMSTAT’ in the Hasselt Station area.
The project will continue under the name ‘B-Hive’.

A new crossing for pedestrians and cyclists cuts through the building block on an urban level.
The building line is pushed back an average of 5 metres creating new opportunities and perspectives for the reconstruction of the Bampslaan and the Station square. New green is introduced to improve living quality.

With a mixed programme including a bar, a restaurant, services, co-working spaces and a wide range of residential typologies, we hope to give the station neighbourhood a new impulse.

Soon this will be a home for students, starters, small and large families. The project has many shared spaces, green roofs, a mobit-point with an atelier, and hopes to contribute to encounters within a transformed Station area.

This project will be realised in close collaboration with the neighbourhood, the Province and the City.
