On the border of Jette and Laken, in the triangle between the Jeugdpark, the Prince Leopold Square and Bockstael lies the former Hippodrome site. The site, after the disappearance of the Hippodrome, has mainly had an industrial function, before it was abandoned. The site is now being redeveloped and part of the urban fabric. With the development we are making a new link with the complex urban situation around the Hippodrome site. With this development the site not only becomes part of the urban fabric, it also gets a variety of functions that increase the liveability of the site.
