a2o and OMGEVING win competition for crematorium Moretus Antwerp
a2o and OMGEVING are proud to announce that they have won the design competition for a new crematorium and its surrounding landscape on the edge of the Schoonselhof cemetery in Wilrijk, Antwerp. The construction of a new crematorium will allow the project to better integrate with the park cemetery, make the project climate adaptive and increase biodiversity. The new ceremonial building will be placed like a floating brick ship in the surrounding wetland landscape.
